After a brief vacay, wherezmyweave is back with a vengeance. And when better to make our comeback than on Halloween? And what a Halloween it is!

west coast weave (in hand)
We received this photo from an avid wherezmyweave follower, who was traveling the west coast in search of weaves* when he bore witness to a RAVAW (random act of violence against weaves). Although it wasn't on the ground, it sure looks like it did something to piss that woman off, and probably ended up on the ground shortly after. Let's go to the source for a first-hand account:
I have no idea what fodder you need for your website, but the woman in the attached photo was aggressively throwing and shaking her weave at a San Francisco tour bus yesterday in the Tenderloin District at approximately 11:00am local time.
*Not true.
Thanks Eric

sarah palin vs. weave on the ground
WINNER:
LOSER:
Some say that Sarah Palin won the VP debate against Joe Biden. It's debatable, but fine. However, there can be no doubt who won our poll "sarah palin vs. weave on the ground". The results speak for themselves:
Weave on the Ground: 42%
Ólafur Ragnar Grimsson: 28%
(r)evolution: 21%
Sarah Palin: 7%
7%, Sarah? Pathetic, but no surprise considering the competition. I think we all know what this poll shows: Weave on the Ground/Grimsson would do a damn better job than McCain/Palin. We welcome disagreements but just so you know, statistics are on our side.
Thanks to everyone who voted!

weavestick
We have what you've all been waiting for: the elusive weavestick!
"What the hell is a weavestick?" you may ask. Well, it is a hybrid: weave and sausage link (we think). No matter. A weave lover and good friend sent in some great shots of this weavestick that seems to have escaped from that garbage can. Yikes! Way to stay on the ground, weavestick! We support the fight for freedom and against terror, as well.
thanks Julian

wherez my crayfish?
On Ocean Ave. Naturally.
We received this photo and a description of the experience (edited for the children).
"dude..a f****** crayfish on the ground in ny. I mean I guess it makes sense...it was on ocean ave..."
Poor confused crayfish! His little body gave up the ghost after eons (in crayfish time) of search the wrong Ocean for his friends. A moment of silence, please.
Thanks Italia and Brian
