But temporary- my computer bit it.
This means only 2 slightly problematic (but not fatal!) things for wherezmyweave: 1. It'll take me a hot minute to get a new one and get some more posts up and 2. Some precious weave memorabilia was on that computer. Don't fear- I trust in BestBuy and their "bargain" file-extracting capabilities.
R.I.P. Pablo.

weave of wonder
We received this gem from a faithful follower all the way up in Harlem. Not only did he send in interesting and controversial photos, we also received a striking and thalassic piece on the experience of finding it. (plus it's our first Harlem weave!)
then, when i was on the sidewalk right across the street from my door, as the bell tolled 2, i saw it. i felt a bit like a whaling ship captain when the first whale breaches the ocean surface. i have a lot of whaling experience so i can say that definitively. so there, tangled and tustled amidst the turbulent urban tempest of scaffolding, concrete, water bottle squirt-tops, and empty white castle burger-shells, she lay, the weave of wonder.

Now, we know what you might say: That? That's a hairball!
And you may be right- but who can know for sure? To us, it will always be a weave... of wonder.
thanks Brendan
