you can't just find this

you have to go searching for it.

but, if good things come to those who wait (what they tell you) yet "man who waits for roast duck to fly into mouth must wait very, very long time" (Chinese proverb), how the hell do we understand happening upon this sea creaturous weave? either extreme serendipity or an intensive weave hunt around the hot spots: D.C.

i can feel the motion from here.

when i first saw it, this was honestly the first image that came to mind:

toy story scariness. shiver.

then i thought about it, and the resemblance is so obvious and awesome that it's not that fun:

remnants of a halloweave well done

We're flexible with our definition of "weave" here at the wherezgroup, so this not only counts, it surpasses expectations. AND it's our first Seattle weave! Was it part of a Wilma Flinstone ensemble? Maybe Big Lebowski? We love it.

off to church we go

Found outside of a church. Wonder what happened before services...? Or after? Regardless, never a loss with a (our) gain.

Does this look like a turtle sitting on a flower to anyone else?

dual weave or some fine shadow action?

Our Williamsburg weave correspondent was very keen in spotting this "easily missed gem!" Damn straight- that's some diamond in the rough shit if I've ever seen it. Very lasso-esque.

ANNIVERSARY, BABY! aka. start a weave train

Wow. So, there are 2 things we can't believe:

1. wherezmyweave is over a year old! WOWZA, kids! That's right- OLD(ish... in blog years)!

2. Umm, we forgot and didn't really do anything special for it. BUT that's so PERFECT because TODAY is the one year and a month anniversary of our maiden voyage into the depths of the magical world of weave hunting! Oh, where has the time gone...

Besides celebratory font colors, something else special for this day:

http://jezebel.com/5351170/what-you-are-about-to-see-is-real

NOT DONE (cause we celebrate in style)! We've recomposed a classic little diddy to go with the theme:

People all over the world (all the world, now)
Join hands (love ride)
Start a weave train (weave ride), weave train
The next stop that we make will be soon
Tell all the folks in Russia, and China, too
Don't you know that it's time to get on board
etc. etc.

Happy Year and a Month Anniversary, bias!
Thanks for supporting weaves throughout the world and keep the pictures coming! Without you, too many weaves would be on the ground in vain. So go on, start a weave train.

thanks Paris

pat your weave

A behind the scenes look at the making of what is sure to be a video of epic proportions. The weaves might not be on the ground, but you can still pat those anyway.

weave hater of the month

This just in:

From the Today's AP Daybook:

10:30 a.m. (to be aired September 8)

Tyra Banks trades in her hair weaves for scarf to promote debut of her real hair during her talk show's fifth-season premiere; Union Square.

We unearthed more information upon further investigation. Healthcare what? Georgian war who? Droogas en donde? Psch. Learn yourselves some real news:

For shame, Tyra.

This finely trimmed rectangle of a silky specimen was discovered on 6th avenue and 3rd street, a curiously weave-laden Manhattan intersection (who would have thought?). Evidence:
